Review:
This is a companion work written in a dictionary / manual format. It is possibly the work that the alien in Humans is talking about when saying he will write an explanation for other beings to understand humankind. It is comic, clever, and often is very adept in the definitions. In some cases the fact that is adept doe snot mean that it's a sad reality-
Examples: Gym, ideology of self-confidence in people's appearances, among other examples.
This is a perfect excuse to look at humans and society from a distance and think about how we as a whole perceive emotions, behaviors, obsessions, and decisions.
There is very little point, absolutely no plot or characters, it is simply to pass time and have a good laugh. Even if you have not read The Humans, you can still enjoy this one.
I got the ebook format but I think I will definitely invest on getting a physical copy so I can make highlights and tabs of my favorite passages and definitions.
