The Hulk like you've never seen him before! Collects Incredible Hulk #83-87.

Review:

Bruce is on a mission to turn Australia into a refuge against the mutant overlords. He's doing a walkabout to assess the land and resources to ensure that his plan will be successful. With his strategic mind and leadership skills, Bruce is determined to make Australia a safe haven for those who need it most. As he gains the trust and respect of the people, Bruce becomes a leader who inspires hope and confidence in the face of adversity. His vision for a better future is contagious, and many are eager to join him in his quest to protect humanity from the mutant threat.

Of course, nothing is perfect, initially, he is reluctant on taking on the mantle, scared of himself and hurting those around him instead of aiding. The relationship he had with the natives and their equivalent of their shaman is a great assistance for Bruce to trust himself and start controlling Hulk's destructive power. The two consciences are not absorbed into one, but they do start to work together.

It gives a great experience that Hulk continues to see Bruce as the idiot human and he does try to protect his puny human.

It was a nice ride, not exactly awesome as Hulk has never been my favorite, but it was a good ride. Maybe after connecting more with the big green guy I'll learn to care more about his adventures.

Review:

So when I saw the title in my list, the list was created months ago, I assumed the Avengers were going to be the members we became familiar with in the movies. I was mostly wrong.

Thanks to Wanda's breakdown, all of reality had flipped and the House of Magneto is the clear winner. It's hard to say what will happen to the regular Sapiens who weren't lucky enough to have mutant powers. They're definitely not on the winning side anymore, and the inner-city conflicts are only getting worse. It's like the '70s all over again, with poverty and prejudice taking on a new twist. It's a tough world out there, but we'll make it through somehow.

The way people decide to react to their new reality. Some only want to keep their heads down and move on but some are natural fighters, the new social system do not make them keep their head down. So we see Luke Cage as he starts to stand up for those in his little corner. He starts getting people to his fight, and we see several of the Defenders (if you're familiar with Netflix show).

It was better than I expected mostly because it didn't follow Wanda or the characters I normally think of as the Avengers. I've come to the realization that I'm not a fan of comic book volumes that don't revolve around my favorite characters like Wanda, the X-Men, or the ones I already love. The latest one I read had a lot of characters I wasn't too familiar with or just didn't find interesting but still it was action-packed and had a good storyline. I was pleasantly surprised.
