Book series to get to in 2023 first Quarter

Priority series for this year. I hope to finish a lot of my plenty of started series but let's be realistic I am in the middle of over 60 of them so I need to work hard at catching up.

The Up-and-Under- This is a children's magical realism trilogy. It follows two kids- at face value, they are polar opposites - Avery, a rule-abiding bookwork who always wants to please his parents. Zib is very outspoken and has an overly active imagination. On an unplanned detour from home to school one morning, Avery and Zib find themselves climbing over a stone wall into the Up and Under – an impossible land filled with mystery, adventure and the strangest creatures.

There is only one more book left in the series so it should be pretty reachable.

Book premise: When the improbable road leaves Avery and Zib in the land of Air and at the mercy of the Queen of Swords, escape without becoming monsters may be impossible. But with the aid of the Queen's son, the unpredictable Jack Daw, they may emerge with enough of their humanity to someday make it home. Their journey is not yet over; the dangers are no less great.

The Final Architecture by Adrian Tchaikovsky. This is a Sci-Fi trilogy about humanity on the brink of extinction and the discovery of one man that will have an unimaginable impact on the whole.

First book premise: After earth was destroyed, mankind created a fighting elite to save their species, enhanced humans such as Idris. In the silence of space they could communicate, mind-to-mind, with the enemy. Then their alien aggressors, the Architects, simply disappeared—and Idris and his kind became obsolete.

Now, fifty years later, Idris and his crew have discovered something strange abandoned in space. It's clearly the work of the Architects—but are they returning? And if so, why? Hunted by gangsters, cults and governments, Idris and his crew race across the galaxy hunting for answers. For they now possess something of incalculable value, that many would kill to obtain.

There are 2 more books I need to get to, the last one has still not been published yet so it gives me a bit of time to catch up.

Miss Marple by Agatha Christie. This is a collection of stories where Miss Marple a nice old lady gets involved in solving murder mysteries. I also have only one more book to get through.

Spoiler alert I read this just at the start of January so I already completed a series for this year. I like the feeling of getting things done. It gives it a very good omen for the rest of the year.

Another series by Agatha Christie I want to complete is Hercule Poirot. This follows the Belgium retired detective Poirot and his trusting friend Hastings.

The last one Tommy & Tuppence mysteries again a series by Agatha Christie - the last of her detective murder mystery series. Tommy & Tuppence Beresford are two of Agatha Christie's delightful detectives. Christie only wrote 5 books in the series and the characters aged realistically, from giddy young detectives in the Jazz Age to grandparents losing their memory of the past in the 1970s. I have only one more to complete.

The prince of tennis by Takeshi Konomi. This is a sports manga, it follows Echizen Ryoma and his teammates at Seigaku Middle school on their journey to reach the national tournament. I have 14 more volumes to get through. I hope to finish them by April at the latest This is the one that probably is going to be the toughest based on the number of books left to get through.

House of M Collected editions by Brian Bendis and a few other artists. Collected editions of House of M, a crossover event in which Scarlet Witch suffered a mental breakdown and ended up altering reality, replacing Earth-616 with Earth-58163.

The event consists of a core eight-issue limited series and various tie-in books, discover more on the official website, including the reading order.

I have 13 that I need to get through. I hope the fact that they're graphic novels makes them easier to get complete.

Another Classic I'm trying to complete is Arsene Lupin by Maurice Leblanc. This is a very interesting detective. He starts being a thief and is widely known to be the French Sherlock Holmes. I only have one more book to get to so that's again very doable.
